Having reached Admiral, does anyone know if FD plan to go higher in Ranks for the Federation?

The next rank is President. All you have to do is send Hudson on a tour of populated space, and sabatoge the frame shift drive.

The whole ranking system right now is nothing but a system permit & ship lockout mechanism .... tragically wasted element of the game imho

there is currently no ranking after Admiral and I think its ok. The ranking has ended at Admiral level aready hundrets of years ago and most likely will sustain
infinite. To be honest I do not see any reason to drive it further.

There is already some misunderstanding in current ranks as an Admiral is a Fleet commander sitting at his desk making big plans and taking lethal decisions. He's most likely
not sitting in an eagle shooting pirates.

Maybe you can enter a political career one day but there is nothing I have heared about any plans to go on with rankings by FD right now.
