It's currently the best combat vessel. It got stronger shields than a Cobra.
Just stay on the conda's tail or use reverse tactics.

And what kind of piracy are you referring to? Player or NPC?
I doubt it's very profitable either way, but it's fun.

Yes, it is immense fun murdering a human player. For me anyway, not for him, muwhahaahaahaa

honestly repair costs for cliper are insanely high for traders and loss of 10% 2.2 mills when u decide to rid of it. Was in cliper less than one day, it was not for me as I trade without shields, so was in t7 sold it 1.9 mills loss, got cliper, sold it 2.2 mills loss, now again in t7, when 1.2 comes alive ah again loss 1.9 mills.

Clipper does not suck.
It may not suit your style, but it most certainly does not "suck".

Murder != Piracy.
It sounds like you really don't know what you want to do.

Get a Cobra, it's a multipurpose ship. Can do a bit of everything.
If you figure out what you want, you can get a more specialized ship.

sorry to disagree, it is a matter of choice if you get damage or not....Clipper as trading ship will get out of ANY trouble without getting so much damage in the shields (if any).....but here you say you didn't even use shields...Very big mistake, when you get to more expensive ships (starting from T-7+), shields are a must cause the costs of repairs are very high.

Now, if you have equipped Imperial Clipper as a trading ship and you choose to fight, instead of just running away, the repair costs (which are higher than the T-7) are gonna be due to your choice, it is not a fault of the ship itself.
