Mine was around 30 seconds, lol got pulled out of SC and by the time i knew what happened i was dead, amazing display fo Cobra FirePower, made my Viper into space conffetti so fast i couldnt stop laughing afterwards, no warrnings or anything just an amazing display of deadly firepower. :)

lol I was also completely obliterated in one almighty blast of "things" by an Anaconda while at almost full shields and 100% hull. Dead in 1 second exactly although the whole fight lasted about 5-8 minutes ish. I got cocky and stuck my face right in front of him. :(

nono i listened to radio while playing.. didnt cut the beginning.. i lasted maybe longer but it hit me pretty hard and cold there^^ never died that quickly and unpredicted

There's definitely something quite funny about being killed in an instant though. The sudden brutality. The confusion. The frenzied, futile, fumbling for keys and then the sadness and realisation. Space is a cruel mistress but also a sexy one.

Posted this the other day. I'm not sure it's possible to die faster (from almost full shields and 100% hull). It's a proper, old fashioned, knockout punch:

Mine was about 4 seconds - and not so much as a fight as a wipe out, I'm in my hauler (empty with no cargo) on my way to Aluin Starport - I got interdicted by a viper and pulled out of supercruise, he did not bother to scan me and by the time I'd started to turn around I was dead.
A very brave and powerful human cmdr that took down an unarmed hauler!
I'll be watching out for him again in the future! ;)
