I'm sick of loseing it and paying the big insurance bill due to other commanders I need a cheaper but powerfull ship for powerplay

You build of the vulture looks OK, A class shields/PP/PD, 3-G pulse lasers.. you should be pretty unstoppable.

What are you doing that you're losing the ship ? PVP ? PVE ?

I can't think of anywhere you'd lose a good vulture in PVE unless you got unlucky in a CZ and had a hostile squadron of Elite/Big ships pop around you.
.
PVP.... thats a whole other story.

PVP is difficult without the monster ships. Generally its regarded as a rich mans sport unless you are incredibly talented. I seem to remember a recent video showing some impressive stealth combat with a Diamondback Vs a Vulture.

My personal advice would be get to somewhere comfortable say for example having a trading Python. That way you can earn a few million credits an hour so if you loose said Vulture or Courier at a cost of 600,000 credits it isn't a big hit. It will also allow you to build a safety margin and prevent you being dumped back to a sidewinder.

Good small PVP ship is the Courier if I remember rightly, very strong shields, agile and good hardpoints. Can't say I've had too much experience with it myself though, only tinkered around a RES with mine once...

I do love my vutuer but I had a viper dance around me I hade to get lost due to it he used 2 chaft s and then 5 npc's dropped in

A Viper got you ? I think you need to practice tactics. Even spamming chaff, you should have been able to de-target him, out turn him, and get in some shots. The vulture is far more nimble, and out-guns a viper. Shield strength also goes to the Vulture.

Do you know how to do some FA-off flight ? I've found that will make even a Python an OK dog fighter. There is a REAL advantage to using FA-off. Hit a few youtube videos.

As mentioned above, get your skills up in a RES with your vulture, and grow your bank account. In a decent RES you should be able to generate a good million an hour in bounties. Add in some PP, and you can get a cool 10 million credits a week with casual play ( 5 million for your weekly pay, and a good million or two an hour in a good RES ). My record is 4.5 million credits for a good hour, in a hi-RES spawning Pythons/clippers/dropships. That's unusual, but do-able. With that you can afford to lose a dozen of vultures.

Once you have a second ship, and the ability to make some serious credits, the loss of a vulture ( and the 600k ) won't be a big deal. Pythons are great ships : heavy combat, good traders, very sturdy, highly survivable.

I know I'm just getting use to the hotas joystick and I do use FA off sometimes agenst big ships the guy I was up agenst was good and the 5 npc police ships sort of gave him the advantage
my skills pve are good (as is averyones) but I am not saying I'm crap at pvp om ok at some points as you can see by my ship loadouts I'm not that thick I do need to work on my skills (CQC) lol but all I'm asking is what ship can I use to sofen the blow I can do RES no problem but I'm aiming for that 10,000 ticket rank I have 3,000 and 8 million but your pointers are taken and I will look at some vids and thanks all who is willing to help me and thanks to the ace community of elite
