While poking around Lave II, I noticed the nearby system of Socanti on my nav computer. An uninhabited system near the Lave cluster. Named, but it doesn't seem to be named after any real-life star.
At first glance, it's a pretty unremarkable system. Two stars. A few icy worlds orbiting the secondary star. Only notable in its blandness.
But something seems off.
This might just be all RNG and paranoia, but I didn't encounter a single signal source around the primary star. Nothing. And nothing on the 100,000 ls journey to the secondary star. But once I got to the system around the secondary, signal sources relatively abound, but not the normal spread. I was getting lots of Salvageable Wrecks. Lots of Weak Signal Sources with wreckage. But not a single Unidentified Signal Source. And every single Strong Signal Source, of the six or so I saw and dropped into, were medical convoys.
Does that seem strange to anyone else? Am I just tinfoil hatting too hard?
