Proposal Discussion What's in a name? Alternative names for Elite Dangerous?

I actually quite like the name Elite Dangerous, but thought it would be good to hear some suggestions for what else it could be called as not yet 100% confirmed.

I'll start the ball rolling:

Elite: Factions

Elite: Renaissance

Elite: Infinity

Elite: Contact

And my favourite:

Elite: New Frontiers

Thought it might have done, difficult to search for Elite Dangerous or 'name' with any success. Maybe a sticky is needed if there is a requirement for a new name?

Great, makes sense to make a sticky of one so the wheel is not reinvented and we don't lose good ideas...

That's the only name that's necessary here.
Don't confuse people with subtitles or sequel classifications.
Like all the movie franchise reboots of the last 10+ years, just start again.

The 'real' fans know this is number4 and lore wise, the other 3 games are in there as background history, but keep it easy and simple for everyone.
