What's the Best Way to Make Money at Colonia

I'm half a billion credits away from Trade Elite. I'd like to be able to sort this before Update 11 drops if possible, but my Cmdr is at Colonia where there never seems much going on.

What's the most profitable trades or passenger routes people have found in the Colonia region?

as for passengers, you can simply stack tourist missions from anywhere not colonia, as most target colonia anyways.
trade i don't know - i think the supply of high profitable commodities isn't large enough anywhere.
mining is definetly a thing, though.

The mining missions that ask you to bring in relatively small quantities of gold and silver for 50M credits a time are probably the quickest way to get trade Elite.

Hope Colonia Bridge Phase 4C next week has relatively plentiful commodities and haul them.

(If you were just in it for money, stacked massacre missions work perfectly well, but of course won't boost trade rank)

Clearly you don't understand the basics of education, that you should learn from the experiences and the knowledge of others. Or would you prefer people to just try and figure out life on their own with no help and support from others? Why do you think these forums exist in the first place, as I can assure you it's not just so people like you can try to be sarcastic.

I'm improving my rank mostly by hunting Scouts. It's not the most efficient method but I like it and it makes me feel like I'm contributing to pushing back the incursions.

I heard Scouts are all 'elite' rated so unless that's changed it's a very efficient way to build combat rank.

If trading. You can buy silver and sell it for a good profit still in Colonia, same way you can in the bubble. First time and went to Colonia that's what I did for a while but cannot remember the name of the stations used now for doing it

OP, as to your question, I'd agress with Ian. The 50M mining missions are a good start, or just start station hopping and running trade routes, building up rep with various factions. The Car's will come. Not sure why you're rushing to get it done before Update 11, though.

Elite ranks are awarded for playing a lot, not for skill. It is good to be Elite but not necessarily for the reason people think. Being Elite doesn't mean you're awesome, it means you found a game you enjoy playing.
