Ok I been playing over a year now, I keep hearing this bubble name. and seeing it in posts, what the heck is the bubble how big is it, and how far do i have to go before im out of it. I realise that last one is the same as asking how big is it. but what the heck. can someone please let me know.

The bubble is what happens when you exhale while chewing gum.
How big it is depends on how much air you force into it. Beware - too much air can make it go pop.
To get out of it just scrape it off your face.

For me the bubble consists of the core systems, like mentioned above. The grey area is some of the surrounds, so for simplicity I consider the original bubble only..... basically I don't include:

The bubble is the area defined by the Power Play influence spheres, I believe. Illustrated below:
Nowadays the Bubble refers to the colonized space around the Superpowers. It's borders are fluid, but as soon as there's no colonized system around you anymore you have left the Bubble.
Colonia and areas like the Pleiades or Witchhead, which have colonized systems, are not part of the Bubble though.
