What's the cost of transferring ships to Colonia?

Hi,

I've got a couple of ships I want to station at Colonia, a Python (which I'll fly out there) and a Federal Corvette.

Does anybody know what the cost is to transfer ships out to Colonia? My Corvette is fully-equipped, and worth about 660,000,000 cr.

I wanna make sure I have more than enough cash on me before I leave for the trip.

Thanks all :)

Mike

I suspect it would be eye wateringly expensive. Probably more than the cost of the ship...

I'm prepared for that, it's not too hard to earn the cash through passenger missions at the mo. It would be nice to have a Corvette out there though, I feel Colonia might be very interesting in future years.

Transfer cost to/from Colonia is approximately 1.3 times the cost of the item (slight variation depending on where in the bubble)

So you're looking at a bit over a billion for the Corvette.

Ouch... cheers :) clearly I want to get it as close, in the bubble, as I can first.

Pilot your most expensive ship out there yourself and take your time to do some sightseeing along the way. :)

But hey, if you have the credits to burn, help yourself.

If you need to ask - you can't afford it.

I have an anaconda out at jaques i play on xbox, i traveled out there on the first CG, with a fully laden ship and equipped with weapons it was the most soul destroying journey ever, i decided to suicide to get back to the bubble, my anaconda now sits forever out at Jaques because it's cheaper to buy a new one then ship it back.

It will cost 344,885,472 CR to return it to me, 61h 22min, if i sell it remotely it will sell for 234.406,051 CR.

How did that work, if you die you reappear where you docked.

I suspect it goes something like "Dock expensive ship that you're planning to leave there, buy a sidey. Prang it. Choose freewinder at the rebuy screen and respawn at a starter system. Replace freewinder with a jump-maxed hauler-taxi. Take taxi from starter system to where you have something else docked."

This below is the answer

Choose the start at Trevithick Dock, LHS 1337 option after suiciding in a Sidewinder bought out at Colonia.

This is exactly what i did and went back to my python that was sat in KALAK, i almost bought another anaconda but decided to wait for the cutter i am count 84% and have 472mill at the moment, i just made elite explorer so having the shinrata site to go to for reduce discounts and things will probs help.

It's usually around or more the cost of the ship. My A rated iEagle cost over 2 mil, my D rated type 6 costs over 6 mil. I heard someone say their Cutter was going to cost over a billion.

Also you might want to reconsider the Vett for the time being as there is practically no combat to be had. There is some bounty hunting you can do but with there being so few minor factions it will quickly get you hostile with some of them.

All the more reason that moving your CMDR via passenger service should be in the game.
