What's the farthest possible jump range with engineer's?

Holy cow 100+lys does it actually work though I remember hearing about cheaters crashing at 100lys

50+ LY Anaconda is possible. Add premium jumponium injection for a one shot range increase of 100% and you get 100 - 110 LY jumps within the realm of possibility in an UNLADEN Anaconda built soley for max jump range.

My Exploraconda can do 48 LY jump with 950mj shields and 5A Thrusters modded to grade 5. Thats with 2 SRV'S on board and an extra 32 T fuel tank. Max single jump with jumponium injection = 98LY.

Heading out for Jaques later tonight, then on to Beagle point and the Treehouse. Then back to Jaques before heading home.

Probably take a week.

If you get blown up a Jaques by a smeghead please don't come in here and post about how ok you are with it like a certain Cutter Pilot did. I have no beef with the guy, but damn, whoever killed him wasted hours and hours of his game time. Combat logging is seen as the most despicable act in this game and that only wastes a couple of mins at most. Blowing up a long distance hauler in the 22 thousand light year range is just criminal imo.

It's extremely hard to put a figure on it.

The Anaconda has the longest jump range (somewhere around 41/42Ly in a bare-bones build?)
An Engineer can boost the Optimised Mass by 50%
Secondary effects can boost this stat even further (not sure by how much - probably at least 5%)
Another stat "Max Fuel per jump" can also further boost range.
Reducing weight will boost it further. In a bare-bones build you'll have stripped lots out, but some Core components (like the distributor) can't be removed, can be very heavy, yet can be made lighter through secondary effects on other mods. Because they're so heavy, a few % reduction of their mass via a Secondary effect can make a big difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if an Anaconda could do a 70Ly jump, 140Ly with FSD injection. Possibly more again in 2.2 with the ability to supercharge your FSD with stellar ejecta.

Not very likely

My shields are actually 922 mj using 4 heavy duty and 4 Resistence augmented G5 boosters

With A5 DD5 Thrusters it will boost well over 300 m/s and with 48LY jump range, I doubt that anything that could kill it could catch it.

But - you never know

So it goes

If it happens, it saves me the long ride home.

Courier seems like a good compromise for a taxi ship in the upcoming changes. Decent jump range in the top tier, lower rebuy, and the fact that you'll be flying it stripped means that you can also build it like a bat-out-of-hell speedster, meaning that you can attempt to run from some interdictions.

I'm certainly considering one for the taxi meta.

30 light year jump range with a full combat fit minus the armor plate (useless to fit seeing as how you can heavily engineer the stock armor and not have to worry about the mass addition) still haven't modded the shields yet, but I am looking at around 1200mj bi weave with high resists. I could have a super long range one, but the idea of exploring in a flying gas can is a boring concept. The starship enterprise never left port without defenses and gear for expiration. Neither do I.

I think 67 or 68Ly on a stripped Anaconda is a reasonable upper bound. It's impossible to say for sure because we don't know what the maximum bonus from secondary rolls actually is.

I hold the record for the longest jump range in the game still as far as I'm aware. I can get my Anaconda to 62.44LY, so with jumponium that means ~125LY

Damn I need a MODed FSD Conda with only 4jumps for Sothis runs.

An explorer Conda is an empty, hollow shell. Put cargo in it and you kiss the extended jump range goodbye.

Also, you probably don't want to spend that much time looking for Jumponium, just to speed up a trade run.
