What's the first animal you will buy on release?

I'm starting off in Sandbox mode and I really want to see the Komodo Dragon. There are so many I want to see but they will probably be the first enclosure :)

i knoiw i work with apes and monkey's but i always call them monkeys :p no matter if i greet the maqaques at the workfloor or the tamarins, i always say hey monkeys ;)

You work with apes and monkeys? Now I'm jealous (and would love to hear more!)! If I wouldn't want a realistic zoo first (which means no big ticket animals right at the entrance), I'd start with orangs as well. They are my ABSOLUTE favourite. Everytime my eyes meet with their eyes, there seem to be something in the air. But I'll 100% have an ape and monkey zoo in sandbox or one of the other modes one day.

Gorillas , Chimps . Mandrills , Lemurs , yes i am a real ape/monkey addict
It will just depend what animals i can afford and are available for my new zoo

My wife who will also be playing it is a cats addict

For a franchise game, my picks would be:

1st: Peafowls.
  • They're cheap, and they bring in a ton of cash.
  • In a moderate biome they won't need any expensive heating or cooling.
  • They require a simple habitat that can fit in well at the entrance to a zoo.
2nd: Whatever I fancy at the time that fits in with the biome I choose and that has a high attraction rating to low cost ratio.

That way I'll have guests coming in to see the high attraction animal and consistent money coming in from the peafowls.

I'm sure there will be other combinations that make just as much sense, but I made a killing from my peafowls in the beta without even trying, so it makes sense to do the same again.

The first smart answer. I will probibly go for Lemurs first, the reproduce well, are easy to care for and are popular with guests, plus they are fun!
