What's the key to set your target to the previous one? (is it possible?)

Let's imagine I've arrived in a system and I'm locked on to a space station in super-cruise.

Then I see a yellow blip on the screen and want to scan it to see if they're 'wanted'.

I select the target and it tells me they're clean.

Is there a quick way (a button) to switch me back to targetting the space station without having to open my left hand HUD and scroll through and reselect the space station?

Many thanks for your help (I hope that post makes sense!).

Also applies if you see a USS and jump out of SC to check it. Is there a quick way of reselecting the space station to then go back to SC and carry on with your journey.

Just before I came on here to ask this I was playing Elite and my wife shouted through "What did it just say?",
"It said 'Docking request granted', shouts I"
"Ohhhhh.... I thought it said 'd0gging request granted'".....
Different game entirely methinks!! :)

I just use the key that I have mapped for next hostile target, and as long as there are none, it clears the ship targeting.

You can quickly re-target the station by pressing the 'next system in route' key. I can't remember off the top of my head which key that is as I use Voice Attack, but you can map it in options/controls.

Impressive if it takes just a few seconds to go from Friendship drive to a request..

Look at your keyboard binds. There is an option to Target Next Route System. Works when you have a route plotted and you divert to scan or investigate something. You can keep locking onto bodies and scan them for example. Then hit the key to return to the route.
