What's the largest battle you've seen in ED?

Well, as an ex EvE player. The big battles I remember were absolute lag fests. In-fact, many times that I remember jumping into a system that was being heavily camped at the gate on the other side. Many times I'd either just crash or the game would take ages to load and I'd already be dead on the other side. Fun, no. Which is why the corps I was part of were about roaming in small teams and usually small numbers in pvp which was a lot more tactical and fun. Though, some of the bigger battles in the great northern war and curse/fountain were much fun to be in and part of.

I guess in conflict areas there must have been 20 ships or so. More than enough to get your butt kicked.
Very nice, add some capital ships and the fun is guaranteed, i hope to see this some day in the final release.
Conflict areas right now are boring and have no sense, there is no combat structure, no squadrons, no capital ships, nothing, just s bunch of ships going from one place to another and shooting the first thing they see....

There are wings of sorts I see in game now all over the place. You can literally bounty hunt by faction now and they come to the defense of their clan.
You see them flying around with each other before they engage, too.
