What's the most surprising Animal Behavior you've ever heard of?

Somehow I've completely forgotten about this even though I've seen a Meme about it some Time ago

How exactly is it misunderstood?
They don't actually throw their babies out, it's more that what happens is the babies fall out of their pouches while the adults are escaping. Same result just not purposeful. They're still fairly low in the animal kingdom's parenting skills rankings.

That's kinda sad, even though it's natural. But, in their defense, at least they don't abandon their kids 1st chance they get, like those snakes

Cetaceans as a whole are crazy interesting with their behaviors (Dolphins making bubbles and throwing up dirt to wrangle fish, Orcas beaching themselves for seals, Dolphins working in tandem with fishermen to catch fish) But I have to say its really brutal how orcas rock little icebergs that seals are on to knock them in the water.

There's a species of predatory bird ( a kite, I think) that spreads brush fires to flush out prey. They'll drop flaming debris such as sticks and dried grasses into other patches of dried brush that haven't been scorched yet. I think it happens in Australia.

Dholes and wolves sticking together, despite usually being antagonistic, due to being lonely:
