What is the point of the system permits that you unlock with fed/imp rank? Like i understand sol bc thats where we are from but what about the others? Do they offer something we cant get at other systems?

Interesting, what ships are there to be precise?
The federal systems have various ships discounts, same with one of the alliance systems, and the empire doesn't really have any benefits although CG's have happened in Imperial permit systems.
Asp and Orca, definitely.
Pretty sure it's Asp and Orca only actually. Will have to check later.
It is, 20% off Orca, and Asp at Irkutsk station in the Alioth system.
