I dread the day they release skins for the Xbone.
If Warframe has taught me anything it is that when it comes to a cash shop FULL of customization options I have no self control.
I could only pass it off as "I'm supporting the game developer!" for so long before I lost track of how much money I had dumped into the game and had to stop, lol.

Just a matter of time before FD follows the Wargaming business model. They would be mad not to use it cos it clearly works! The plus side is that FD would be able to invest a bit more in the Xbone version.

Wargaming is a Russian-backed games company that developed the 'World of...' series of online PvP games. Their model is free to play but by paying real money you can get skins, premium vehicles, premium time etc. Some people call this 'pay to win' but it works and generates a lot of revenue. The upside is that they can afford lots of developers and updates!
No way.. no god damn way. Nope. Maybe they can do something like that with CQC but not the main game for the love of all that's holy.
The model is proven and if FD's backers are Russian then they will expect it. Remember Braben's comment about lost revenue in the recent annual statement? You have been warned....
