What's up with pilot Ranking

Getting ready for DW2 launch i was looking at the ships in my instance,they were all harmless or mostly harmless not thinking anything off.
Then sitting a wp2 planet surface and driving around and looking at the landed ships i noticed they were all harmless or mostly harmless, then i looked at my ship and i was harmless. Not sure whats because i am Elite in combat and trading.

So whats going on

Very likely the other players are out in SRV's or fighters. In that instance the displayed ranking is harmless for an unmanned ship, or whatever rank their hired NPC pilot is.

Its a mechanic i think it always shows as harmless when you look at a unmanned ship

There may also be quite a few alt accounts out there that are Combat Harmless. My alt account, which I’m using for DW2, is an exploration only account and will show up as harmless.
