whats up with rares?

Hi All

Long time since i did any rare trading but just got some mugs and centauri mega gin from Hutton Orbital and traveled 386LY to obsidian Orbital and i am being offered a loss on both, i thought rares value was supposed to increase with distance but all i get is loss. Whats going on? or is it just everything to do with trading being nerfed out of existence.

Possibly related but I brought some Sothis Gold back to the bubble today & only received ~2,000Cr/t profit. IIRC it's usually around 16,000Cr/t but like you, I don't do rares often any more.

I did the same today and had the same issue at the first port I stopped at. Second port, I made 22kCr/unit, as expected (both agricultural). So more of a minor glitch than a bug, I guess.

Me neither. I sold them at my 4th destination, returning home after missions to three other stations, and at the third I bought a bunch of stuff to take home with the Sothis Gold. I didn't check the price but I didn't sell it at the first place to generate a price for it either.

I'll test it next time, see if I can spot a pattern.
