What's up with the hole near the Anaconda's Power Plant?

On its underbelly, there is a square hole that is near the power plant location. What is its purpose? Or is it a bug? It looks strange to see inside the Anaconda.

It's the improbability drive hardpoint. It was supposed to hold an improbability drive, but now it just serves as a graphic glitch, instead.

It's the venting systen you can shoot misiles into to insta kill it, but only if you can use the force.

I hope it's part of the docking system for small fighters (Eagle, Sidewinder, Condor), if they ever implement that.

It's to jetison the aftermath of a last nights curry Vindaloo into the nearest star.

I'm pretty sure the Anaconda is also comes standard with a holographic projector and a ships cat.

Looking inside at all angles, you can see there is a ton of space inside; enough to fit a small ship? The hanger deck would fit in that box the Anaconda has I guess. But that hole a is really good size for a vending machine so it could be anyone's guess...

I do remember reading somewhere that a Sidewinder is supposed to fit into the 'Conda somewhere....hope they get around to doing that.

Some smaller navies use the Anaconda in the light cruiser and frigate roles. The Anaconda can also be upgraded with a docking bay allowing small fighters up to Sidewinder size to be carried and launched.

Which means the Condor can also fit inside the bay, since it's about the Sidewinder's size (assuming they'll allow players to fly it).
