Whats up with the NPC AI

Hahaha! I was wondering the same, but I also find the AI's behavior entertaining. I was trying to dock at an outpost and an NPC Sidewinder decided to loiter in front of the control tower to my assigned pad. I got a front row seat to a ship shredding as I was entering the hangar. In another instance, a large NPC controlled ship loitered in the opening to a dodecahedron station. As I was barely slipping past, the NPC pilot spammed "Why Me?" as he was shot to pieces. It's wonderful!
