What's with the discounts for ships and modules, moving from system to system...?

First, I found 10% discount on everything in Hyroks (dunno if its still there). . . . . . . then I saw everything in all 3 stations in Anlave at a 20% discount - today its gone though, everything back at full price . . . . . . . Now TZ Arietis has a 10% discount at Snyder Enterprise. . . . . . . . . . . . I never saw anything on the forum about it, is this a Power Play side effect? Some short term bonus thing?

Thats the Hudson controlled/exploited discount 20%/15% has become very unstable this past day or so. Officially it was meant to be a Powerplay bonus that gives 10% discount on weapons in controlled systems but for some reason Hudson systems gave 20%/15% on all ships and modules. I personally think it had something to do with him being kicked off the top of the powerplay rankings from #1 to #2
