Whats with the festive countdown?

The countdown seems to be bugged,

I would have thought a new skin/item would be added each day, i've been logging in daily and nothing, then suddenly 2 added.

What's the count down to? 12 days of christmas yet 14 items available.

None of it makes any sense.

All i want is a nice skin for my new Beluga for the DW2 Expedition.

I think "5 gold things" may of been day 4. Maybe not, ah no, forgot vulture one.

But dont look for any logic, just buy the ones you want. Sidewinder is tempting me, but am waiting to see, as I know I wont ever use it....
