What's your most wanted bird type!

I'm talking broad (like taxonomic level of family) types! I want waterfowl like alot of people.
But for me, my most wanted is Doves and Pigeons! I like their presence in the Bible, they have haunting calls, and they look really cute.

Assuming the game doesn't change the way of bird types, large wading birds would be my most wanted. Sure the flamingo and red crowned crane are already ingame but extending the variety to include herons, ibises and spoonbills would make me so happy. The roseate spoonbill and scarlet ibis are among my most favourite birds.

My top tier birds are listed roughly in order, except for oddballs, which vary. I bolded my favorites
Habitat Birds:
  1. Swans: Both mute and black would be great to spice up the waterways.
  2. Ducks: Mandarin duck is the king of ornamentals, and the NA wood duck is not far behind. Mallard, Muscovy, and White Faced Whistling are also cool. While they'd be cool in a habitat, problems with the tiny babies might force them into a duck pond exhibit. Either way, I really want ducks!
  3. Pelicans: Unique, popular, and have a decent presence in zoos. I wouldn't miss then as much as waterfowl or some of my habitat oddballs, but they're still pretty cool! The Great White is the most popular, and the brown would be pretty good, too, if we got a second.
  4. Pheasants: Asia's got some pretty cool ones, including the Golden, Silver, Lady Amherst's, Reeves's, and common. While those are commonly kept indoors and thus might be placed into a WE, I would really like some of those birds! Chickens, Guineafowl, and Turkeys would all be great additions to a domestic pack. If we don't get them as domestics, Wild Turkeys would be a very iconic choice for NA bird rep. Guineafowl and red junglefowl could also work under other themes.
  5. Oddballs:
    1. Secretary Bird and/or Grey Crowned Crane for Africa, Ground Hornbill: Africa has so many great options for in-demand habitat birds. I really want these
    2. Scarlet Ibis and/or Roseate Spoonbill for SA rep, Rhea:
    3. Rockhopper Penguin, maybe American Flamingo?: I don't want a ton from flamingos and penguins, but the rockhopper is my favorite penguin, and a pink, American flamingo would be a nice contrast to the Greater as well as a simple species to implement.
Flying Birds:
  1. Macaws: They are so colorful and iconic. If we were to only get one flying bird for our WE's, I would want macaws. The Scarlet, Hyacinth, Blue and Yellow, and one of the green ones would be great additions that would not be too difficult to implement.
  2. Owls: They are some of the most requested on the bird wishlist and a favorite among birds I've seen. Standout choices include the Snowy Owl (Hedwig, please!), Eurasian Eagle Owl, and the Burrowing Owl.
  3. Budgies/Lorikeets/Parakeets: Feedable budgies are so common even in smaller zoos. I really want them. A variety of lorikeets would also be easy to implement. For parakeets, sun conures and rose ringed parakeets would be very nice to have.
  4. Eagles: The Bald Eagle is super iconic and my favorite here. The Golden, Harpy, and Stellar's Sea would give some rep around the globe.
  5. Toucans: The Keel-billed is my favorite toucan for being the most colorful, but the toco is also famous and cool. There are some other toucan species as well as toucanets that would make great additions.
  6. Vultures/Condors: Kind of scary, but there are a few cool options Rüppell's Griffon is common in zoos that I've seen. The Andean is a conservation icon from SA. There are other popular choices as well.
  7. Hornbills: Good rep for Asia and Africa. Standouts include the Great Hornbill, Rhinoceros Hornbill, and the Yellow Billed (whichever one is Zazu)
  8. Oddballs: Laughing Kookaburra (zoo icon from Australia), Common Raven (Northern hemisphere buddy), Hoatzin (This taxonomically strange dino bird with wing-claws is my favorite even if it's uncommon in zoos), Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, Peregrine Falcon (Northern Hemisphere buddy), African Grey Parrot, Eclectus Parrots
  9. Unlikely in my eyes, but still cool: Hummingbirds and birds of paradise
In summary, waterfowl and flying birds are mostly what's missing for me. Some for the Americas and at least one more from Africa would be really nice, too!

Since smaller birds got brought up from the OP, I'll go with it, and Macaws, even though my most singularly wanted bird is not a Macaw. I would gladly take any number of Macaws Frontier would give us, I'm talking happily having a dozen or more. But I don't think we'll get any, which is a shame since they are the birds that I think of whenever "birds in zoos" are mentioned. These would be exhibit birds and while I had hope for them before, I don't anymore.

For what could be possible in game right now, it's wading birds. Ibises, Spoonbills, Herons, the Shoebill, Storks, Egrets and more Cranes. There's others I want but collectively that's definitely my most wanted group that could be done at this time, which we know it can be since we have the flamingo and red crowned crane.

Definitely Hornbills for me, they are just my favourite kind of bird, their unique casques and beaks are beautiful. The Great Indian Hornbill is my favourite personally. There are so many other incredible looking species of these birds too.

If we're talking flying birds, parrots. Unequivocally the most important group for a zoo setting. Macaws, cockatoos, various parakeets.

If we're talking habitat birds that have a more than zero chance of making it into the game, then probably pheasants or anseriformes (mostly swans rather than ducks or geese), and obviously pelicans.
