I think that it looks great from above, but opposed to other DeLacy ships, the lower half of the hull doesn't really match the design. The top half is a snake like on the others, the lower half looks like the snake is digesting an elephant. That part was probably subcontracted to Core Dynamics.

I currently like my Fre De Lance Explorer

The Anaconda is too slow and I like the cockpit. Its also very temperature effective

Just talking exploration? Anaconda all day. Ever since I graduated to that monster, never looked back. The ONLY hang up is her mass when touching down on higher gravity worlds....that fat rear end loves to swing on approach.

I absolutely love my Conda. Been exploring in her non stop since Jan and I've learned to master her foibles and appreciate her benefits.
They are outstanding ships, best explorers in the game. Not perfect but drop dead gorgeous.

My first exploration trip was in a Hauler. A great ship to start exploration, but it lacks the view...
I am now traveling in Asp Explorer (ISV "Sun Dog") and i must say that i will probably not want to change this ship with anything else. It's the perfect ship for me.

I do love the Boeing 747-alike front end of the Clipper and the Cutter, but rest is overdone for my taste.

I think the FDL is the sleekest ship by far.
