I make a rum, using an old Jamaican mash as a base, I add a few pears and ginger to it, gives it a nice twist, to the burn. Trouble is, at 55% Vol, it can make landing interesting after a few shots.
'We're fuelled by coffee and hydrogen
our walls are cold titanium.
No mortal foe we've not destroyed
to serve our Queen and free the void.'
'Power it up and raise the shields
we'd lase the devil and scorch his steel
When fury's spat from guns white hot
we'll ride his storm or join his lot.'
It's really hot at the moment here in Italy, so I've been adding a touch of Jack Daniels to glasses of bitter lemon soda. Very refreshing, can be a tad potent if I have too many.
Other than that, tea!
Never, ever ask me for directions.
I've gotten lost on every continent except Antarctica. (Only because I've never been there.)
But on the other hand I'm happy and I've met some nice people.
This BTW is not a joke. I once drove up a dry river bed in Crete thinking it was a pretty poor road.
