Engineers WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

OK, so I modded my Vulture's thrusters with level 3 dirty tuning.

455m/s boost. Never thought I'd see the day!

On top of that, the lateral and vertical thrusters are a lot more effective, and I swear turning is even faster now.

Wow.

Anybody else been shocked by the effectiveness of any of their mods?

If something that agile gets even more agile, I fear that would be for the worse, almost. How do You aim in that thing? :D

Congrats...!!!!

I had no luck yet, just update my shields at level 2.

I can not find mercury anywhere, and waste 24 hs on spreedshets and planet exploration.

Yeah, I put enhanced drives on one of my Sideys, and had to mod the (A graded!) PP, to have enough juice...
But I got a boost of around 486m/s, and insane strafing as a reward. :D

And that's WITH mill.grade armour, and a big fuel tank....imagine what a light build can do!

Lightweight Sidey can easily go over 800. ;)

Very, very carefully ;) It helps to have Joystick Curves running, because I can tune the stick's response so it's still relatively easy to control for small movements while retaining the crazy-spinny stuff at the extremes.

However, given that it's an absolute monster at strafing now, I don't often have to make huge corrective moves.

Wait till you get level 3 dirty drives. 500+ boosts and better agility than a stock Federal Eagle.

Really cool.
I can't wait to mod my Courier. :)
