Powerplay When do the number of days pledged increment?

Just finished my merits for level 3 (2 days ago) and now I'm just waiting for my time to hit 4 weeks. Right now I see 3 weeks, 6 days but I've seen than for longer than 24 hours I swear. I was thinking that would have updated today (Thursday) morning with the weekly reset but alas not.

So did I just see it wrong or should it have ticked over at the reset? I merits definitely did as I see that correct. If it doesn't happen at the reset does it happen on a player by player, hour by hour? Say I pledged at 10 am GMT and let's day that was on a Thursday morning (but after the tick over). Do I hit my 4 weeks at 10 am GMT (or say I pledged at 11 pm GMT would it happen then?) Or does it happen on the first full day you're past 4 weeks, so in these cases it would it tick over at the specific time or at midnight GMT on the next day? Another example I pledged on Saturday. When I hit the Thursday reset I have my 750 merits so at the reset I'm level 3, just not for long enough. Would I then need wait until Saturday or Sunday (depending on exact time) - or would I have to wait until the next Thursday tick-over. Damn this gets needlessly complicated it seems, of course we say that about all things we don't understand.

I know that many commanders complain about the grind, honestly it doesn't bother me as I do very little grinding personally. Well I finally found the straw to break my back - why on Earth can you only fast track 10 merits at once? Who the F thought that was a good idea. Whenever I'm near the end and need my merits I do delivery missions - which means to get those 750 tons in my ship (use my Anaconda, 400 one trip 350 the next). Once you get into Power Play Contact you scroll to Fast Track, click, scroll down 2x to get to the number you want, 10 right clicks, okay and start over. It's 14 clicks for each 10 which means it's roughly 1,050 CLICKS TO GET 750 TONS OF SOMETHING. Are you serious here? Oh and the real kick in the balls, each 1 ton you Fast Track costs you $10k. So for all 750 it's $7.5M AND 1000 clicks. I know we get 10 every half hour for free but why in hell do we have to click over to 10 units each time we Fast Track. Why is there no "Fill your hold" or even just scroll to the most you want - but 10 at a time? I think it took me 5-8 minutes to get the first 400 in my ship and sure, that's not that much time but when I'm sitting there just wasting time clicking and scroll - is that really the gameplay FD wants?

Oh, someone else learned about the stupidity of the trade merit interface ... Yeah, trying to fill a pure trade cutter at rank 1 is extremely painful, even before you realise that you've just paid 7.9 million credits for the privilege of helping out your power. That being said, you can hold down whatever button you have bound to UI Right to fill, but it's still a god awful amount of clicking.

As for your pledge days, I would have thought it counted the accurate hours.

With a keyboard and mouse you can just hold down Enter but due to my binds I have to (will it's far easier to) use my HOTAS stick for this. I use the pad at my right thumb for menus and such, as such I have to either click or wait for each group of 10 - all those little clicks aside it's STILL a Hugh Jass to get it all done.

it's made that way to prevent the rich kids not controlling the entire Power wiht just 4 cutters and some No Lifing.

It doesn't prevent that at all, it just makes filling up your hold very inconvenient and tedious. And it will equally hit people with limited playtime, potentially more since people that do nothing but fortify in Cutters all week (if you know some masochists that like to do that send them to us please) will always be rank 5 and will have a lot less annoyance filling up their hold with their 50 ton batches.

Use a script program. I'm not going to ruin my damn HOTAS/mouse/controller for that tedious stupid crap.
