When does faction influence update?

As above mate, our stuff is mid-afternoon at the moment.
To see the changes (if you're not in the game) you need to have had someone visit the system with edmc running, so things like inara update for you to see outside the game.
Otherwise if in game, I think you just need to select the system map to see the numbers after they have changed.
It's not all immediate however and happens over a short period of time, although I'm not sure how long it takes for the whole bubble to tick through.

sometimes those are cached, and you need to restart from launcher to have system map values updated.
