When not to try flight assist off for the first time...

When just taking off in your Type 9 with 500 ton gold cargo from a high gravity moonbase.

Face-palm+head-desk just about covers it.

About 4+ million to cover ship and cargo. Sigh.

I was too astounded at my incompetence to rage-quit. It was more a sheepish-quit.

Anyone beat that for sheer bad timing / stupidity?

Wow man, I feel for you!

I think I can beat it though..

In preparation for the launch of 2.2, I bought myself my first anaconda, flew about with it for a week, very happy.

Decided to take my first venture out of the bubble, so I hop back into my Asp X, and set a course for the center..

All goes well I reach the center and make my way to Colonia..

Beta is about to launch by now.. the weekend before Tuesday.., I make my way back to the bubble, took all weekend, major no lifing, much to the missis's disgust!

(I'd played the beta by this point, tried out fighters and passengers)

So I'm back in the bubble, Tuesday comes around and I am so ready, mind, body and soul..

I delightedly jumped into my anaconda, kit it out with fighter bays and passenger cabins, and I take two passenger missions at whichever station I was at, I think CD-51 102..

The second I leave the station, I am scanned and destroyed within a mere 2 seconds!

Didn't have rebuy :D

Feel the pain
