When pausing make ship stop

On Xbox back in the early access program when you paused your ship came to a full stop. This made it easier to me to identify it they are trying to log out through the main menu, this would be nice to have back, both for PC and Xbox.

Nah thanks, it's fine as it is.

I sometimes change some controls or other settings during the endless hours of straight line SC and I am very glad that it does not stop me each time I go to the menu. It's annoying enough that it does that when exiting from external cam.

Also who 'pauses' mid something?... Either you're in a situtation where you can cut the throttle and walk the dog without dying or you can't, what has the menu to do with that?

Maybe not letting it happen in supercruise? That I don't mind.. it mostly so I know if someone is about to use the menu to exit out on me.

Well enter into normal space. Should be fine. You might have a chance a ship will check the area. But the game dose not have a Pause.

And knowing that will help in what way?
What if they just start boosting instead before doing so, that'd make the ship go quite a while before it slows back down.
Would you then call anyone a logger who stop and pops AND boosts and pops?

Also what the hell, you can't even log in combat anymore through the menu as it'd give you a 15 sec delay, so anyone who really intents to log would just tab out of the game and kill it. /thread :p

And while yes it takes a little while to stop especialy in bigger ships it will still make an obvious difference.

No I know it ain't logging as in combat logging but it's still exiting the game, I want to know if someone is about to do that so I know they don't plan on cooperating. People who leave through the main menu aren't using an exploit so i wouldn't bother reporting them.
