When Races and Space Gambling?

When do we get space races spread across the galaxy? It could be yet another way to earn or maintain income, either by betting or participating in the races.

Should be divided by ship type I think to keep things fair, Could be held every 2 hours so there's time to get bets in between races. Empty slots could be filled with NPC if not enough players are participating.

Maybe make "Race" models of the ship you have to buy before you can enter likely have the speeds be faster than what ships normally do since they don't need to "go to warp", that you get access to at any race way across the galaxy.

Also when class 4 railguns and other passive income options?

Gambling should definitely be a thing. In escape velocity you would just pick a flyer, the game would roll the dice and play a quicktime event corresponding to the winning racer. It was simple 4 to 1 odds against, great wat to add some life to the game.

No, the goal it's to come with your ship, else add a mode in CQC... But CQC is useless.

EDIT: CQC should be integrated into the game or impact the game with rewards eg.
