When selling ships and modules (discount)?

Okey, since we have discounts on ships, I wanted to ask how the selling price of ships and modules work.

A) Buy a 10% cheaper ship and fly it to a station where it has no discount. Sell it for profit?
B) Buy a normal ship, fly it to a station where it has a discount and sell it for a loss?
C) Buy a 10% cheaper ship and sell it everywhere for the price (or a related price) you have bought it for? (Same appleis for 'normal' ships)

Does the same applies for modules?

It's wrapped up with your Ships Insurance (it shouldn't have anything to do with that anyway) so you never make any profit. It's the same value as you paid minus 10% used. Stupid isn't it.

You get whatever you paid for selling modules. You get 90% of whatever you paid for the ship if you sell the whole thing.

Selling ships or modules for more than you paid was deemed an exploit. FD patched it and punished the cheaters who used it by removing their credits and setting all their pilot federation xp to 0.

If you want to reap the rewards of that cheat just clear your saved game.
