Had good fun getting a carrier into uncharted space, thanks FDev.... and I really mean that!, you have given explorers a fantastic tool to realise their dreams. A Shout out to @Tim Smith is in order too! A great community manager! .... Will make a Video maybe .. I hope FDev provide a sensible way for explorers to fuel a carrier.

Fantastic views up here, even managed to get higher than KV URSAE MAJORIS ! Never thought that would happen! 5,319 ly above the Bubble, jaw dropping views! Some great systems too!

I did find ICE in the end, even a Tritium Hotspot - Pulse wave, Subsurface / Laser mined two rocks and looked at my 16 ton reward, only another 467 rocks to get me home... Nah.. I want to explore...

I got 1,500 fuel on board if anyone wants it, 6 days left. I had to Fire Ronnie... out the Airlock.... Such a pointless role

Questions: Did you carry UC with you? Did you sell data back to it? Do you keep the data after decommission and I assume suicidewinder back to civilisation?

They stay in the decommissioned carrier until they are transferred away, was my understanding. So their location is wherever your carrier is decommissioned.

Edit: Or wait... Do they come and collect the carrier? :)

Data safe - All Sold - Systems tagged but I left every system taggable for other crazy explorers.

As for a sidewinder, I may have a accident while taking some holiday snaps in a couple of days time ;) Who Knows! :D

On a sidenote... It's a bit depressing to see that the only way (correct me if I'm wrong) to see if other CMDRs have Vessels docked on your Carrer..... is Decommissioning it (??)

(at least one can check this way... but why isn't this Info available elsewhere?)

Yeah, in this regard... actually yes :p
(like... the Info is there, it just needs "Carrier Stats" or "Carrier News" listing all that)

Well, maybe in the forseeable future. Seems easy enough and doable, so maybe we'll see it one day in the Patchnotes.

A lot of things about the carriers seemed easy and doable. Yet here we are...
