Newcomer / Intro When will tutorials be updated ?

This week i've started to watch the tutorials on YT , but they all from 8 years ago.
the menu's have been changed. new type of missions are not included.
So much has changed that most YT tutorials should be redone to include all the new stuff.

Better to use the forums or discord etc to find out what you want to know.

So dont grind credits doing passengers missions for example

The game has been updated and changed continually over the years, any guide or video you find that is over a year old and hasn’t got a more recent edited date is likely to be out of date.

Almost all the YT videos will be by current or more likely former players who are probably no longer interested in the game.

The in game tutorials/training are better for the basics as at least they are interactive.

Are there any YT videos that have been done by FD, so officially, as tutorials?

So basically, you'll need to ask the creators of these videos to update them.

Most videos are still largely fine, just don't watch anything older than ~3years for horizons content and you'll be fine.

Being a fairly recent Elite Dangerous player, I want to add to that post as I have been confused at how to access those training videos.
While I am very grateful FDev produced those videos, I find it sad that some of them are difficult to access.
There is a ton of misinformation and outdated content out there and it is quite frustrating for a new player to not be able to easily access vetted content from Frontier.

If you select any videos in the training section and click play video, it opens up a browser to the Elite Dangerous website and showing only the first video "basic flight training"
There is a link on that same page to more videos, redirecting to Youtube.
Unfortunately. the Youtube playlist loaded is also missing some of the possibly more recent videos like multi-crew and ship launched fighters.
You have to search the ED Youtube channel and luckily find those videos.

And for those like me coming here because they can't find the information to restrict their crew from using utilities during multi-crew session.
The option is in the internal panel (right) under ship but ONLY appears if you're already in multi-crew and is called "crew gunner access" and need to be set to limited.
I'm still searching how to select which module they have access to instead of everything or nothing.
