Just a simple poll. I know I and others clicked through, ready to spend the £2-£3 that other paint jobs had cost, and were stopped in their tracks by the £10 price tag.

Cost

I had heard the protests way before I visited the shop, many of these protesters have gone on to by the skin, please own up. I thought it was a bit steep then went and bought it immediately, as the saying goes "bought the skin, got the tee shirt). I have no regrets. I haven't been out for months thanks to ED, saved me a fortune (not the fortune I have so far spent (DK2 yes no)).

This is exactly the same topic like the one a few topics below.
I was surprised, but people have to understand two things here.
Firstly this is a skin to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Elite, and this is a limited so a unique skin. Secondly if you like FD you can now support them by buying this skin too.
And for last, you're not forced to buy it, it's not going to change your gameplay if you don't have it.

Buy it or not, the idea is this is a special one time offer for their 30th anniversary. They want it to be a limited edition and only those willing to pay the price will own it. It is not for the general public per say, but priced for the true fans that want something unique. If it was $3-$5 a lot would but it I am sure, but that is not goal, as they have other paint jobs for that price. No this is truly a limited edition special that won't be repeated. You pay a premium as it means something to you.

People look at it as gouging, but it isn't. It is a way to make it available to all, but limit the number so it remains special for years to come.
