Hello to you Wat
Welcome to the forum. I have moved your post into our Hardware section, were hopefully you will get the answers you seek. Have fun in the forum. :) I have also deleted your second double post.

Hi Wat!

You haven't said which exact model you've got, but let's assume it's the F755-3D290 with 6GB RAM, an i7-2630QM (2 GHz-2.9 GHz) and a GeForce GT 540M.

The i7 should cope (min specs are currently 4x2GHz cores), but I suspect the GT 540M will struggle a lot considering the laptop's native 1920 x 1080 resolution.

For 3D, your laptop apparently uses Nvidia's 3D Vision with Active Lens technology, drops to 1,366x768 resolution, and uses face tracking with the built in camera.

Therefore, I reckon running in 3D is a non starter at anything like an acceptable frame rate.

HTH.

Not Sure What You Are Saying...?

:DHi,
... ... ... :DNot Sure What You Are Saying... Been Good So Far... The NVIDIA 3D Has Shown Great Or Good Enough 3D Pics And Display So Far And Not So Much Of The Resolution, That's Good Enough With Me...
:DSo, According To Y'All There, Will The Full Elite Dangerous Work With This Toshiba Qosmio F755-3D290 In 3D Mode And Display ...?
:DOf Course, Unless You Know Of Any Other Glass-Free 3D Laptops If Available Out There, I'm Just Happy I Got This One...?
:DSo, Will The Elite Dangerous Work...? Also, At Reasonable And Good Enough...? As Far As You Thinking, Well, Will That Work Just Good Enough And Fair Enough To Have A Good Game With FULL:D Elite Dangerous...?

Hi,
I have been playing the Alpha on a laptop with similar specs to yours and have been getting 17 - 20 FPS on low detail, not 3D. The final release may run faster or slower than this depending on how optimisation goes and what extra overhead there is. On my laptop at the moment the bottleneck is definitely the 540m graphics.
