Where are all the people?

Where are all the people? Where do folks go to fight other pc's?
Feels like all I see & fight are NPC's,not sure but maybe I am missing something,
the game advertised itself as a mulitplayer type of game. Thanks in advance for any info or advice. Also if there is a part of the galaxy where folks meet to fight please let me know. Thanks again.

It is a multiplayer type of game. It is not an arena shooter though. However, check Freeport. There seems to be something going on over there.

So if a player character has a bounty on them is it ok to attack? Don't want to upset anyone or make anyone mad but I thought that was part of the game, please clarify for me as do not want to upset the community that I just become part of, thanks in advance for any info or advice.

Sure, though if it's a small bounty it's not worth taking any damage for, the cost of repair will likely end up higher. If you attack someone and your aim isn't some in-game gain then some would class that as griefing.

Honestly though, most would agree that bounty = fair game.

I'm thinking on release i'll only see players for a day or so, then very very few to none, the solitude of the blackness

freeport is easiest way to fin other PC's, also conflict zones (Eranin 2) is a place where PC's are, but overall if you want only pvp then now is not the time.

when you can interdict others in super cruise kit will be easier to fight specific targets, also when this instancing and matchmaking will be fixed, i have frequently landed in instance where invisible ship is shooting at me, or where i see my friend and he doesn't see me etc.

so still they have huge work in network department to do ;)

I seriously doubt that anyone would fault you for firing on a player with a bounty. If I had a bounty I would expect to KOS to anyone except friends. :)
