I hope this post is not hidden in the depths and only ask ...

David Braven and Zac Antonaci ... other Frontier team:

That you dedicate a few words to all Elite players who are disenchanted, even some like me with more than 2000 hours of play.
Because the first meeting has been only a day flower.

It is time not to hide, and to give face, to show that you are still there.
And read the critics and allusions. That there are really plans for the future.

But to think one thing, from my experience and knowledge when a player leaves a game more than 2 months for whatever reason is very low the percentage to return it. What do you expect that .... does not happen ?.

For everything I read here in the English forum and forum in Spanish .... I think it's time to give a sample of that there is ... and not hidden behind an office.

Que dediqueis unas palabras a todos los jugadores de Elite que estan desencantados, incluso algunos como yo con mas de 2000 horas de juego.
Por que el primer encuentro ha sido solamente flor de un dia.
Es la hora de no esconderse y de dar la cara, de demostrar que aun estais presentes.
y leeis las criticas y alagos. Que realmente hay planes de futuro.
Pero pensar una cosa, desde mi experiencia y conocimientos cuando un jugador abandona un juego mas de 2 meses por el motivo que sea es muy bajo el porcentaje de retormarlo. ¿A que esperais a que eso .... no suceda?.
Por todo lo que leo aqui en el foro de ingles y foro en español.... creo que es el momento de dar una muestra de que estais hay ..y no escondidos detras de un despacho.

Frontier tease and many of us suspect there's more to the encounter than meets the eye.

The reason this encounter was so wonderous was the long tease beforehand. Of course, sooner or later... they are going to have to make good.

Some FD employees take some days off during the last week of December and/or first week of January?

I understand the OP's question and his need for an answer, but hang around here long enough and you soon get to know the response from time for anything here from those your asking is either no existent or very far and few in between. So in other words pretty much the norm.

But as others have pointed out, we've just had the Christmas holidays....

They have been captured by the Aliens (thats what they have been looking for....)

Ed will be doing a stream from an alien dungeon just as soon as he can scrape some broadcasting equipment together.

Maybe we should just enjoy the game rather than worry about the movements of the developers.

Part of the fun is not knowing all the answers 😀

It's only been 4 days.
Plenty of ED owners will probably not have had a chance yet to log back into ED, some may even have to reinstall it first.
I do agree that FD shouldn't just sit back now for month' on end, but c'mon, even while often being sceptical about the game, i also have to be reasonable.
If nothing more follows within the next 2 or 3 weeks, by all means, go and poke them.
It's just too early for that still....and hopefully you won't have to.

They are still celebrating the great aliens roll-out.

And I am pretty sure they are as happy and thrilled with the game so far, as I am, and many other people.

We say, wow FD, looking good! Nice wheels! Fun to drive! Cool alien bumper sticker!

But you say, hey, neighbor, your car is a terd lump, better come apologize to the neighborhood, you didn't even get a three-color wrap you just got a stupid sticker. You're scared to show your face!

Seriously, they are in a different world where a lot of happy people live including me. But you can stand on the corner and scream insults. I don't think they will come out to play.

If you post in the general discussion section of the forum, you going to get a lot of general answers on and off topic, if your waiting for a response form anyone slightly related to FD in any official form as in on the company's pay roll...not going to happen. Unless Brent C *think that's his name* pops in.

FD are taking the valve approach. Done when its done. They are far better than Valve in communicating with the playerbase. It has been quiet recently due to Christmas but I expect with the space cabbage appearance and the next major patch due in the near future (Feb/March?) that the PR and Hype train will ramp up speed shortly.

Point patch this week hopefully!

When they need time for launch the game on other platform (PS4), as usual there is endless beta and a wall of silence. The dev team is hiding from uncomfortable questions. Do you remember their 6 weeks absence due to X-box release, when 2.1 was delayed?

You just love to trashtalk as long as you can complain about FD. Elite's XBox release was almost a year before 2.1 dropped.
