Where are the Burning Stations?!?

So, I just got back from a long exploration trip and wanted to take a break from the Beta... thought how about I log on and go check out one of the newly attacked stations. Packed up my conda with passenger cabins and loads of heat sinks... headed out to Pleiades, and alas, both stations NOT burning??? Already in repair mode? No burning station, no passenger needing rescue, no mega ship... Wow! I just got the news release yesterday that the stations were under attack.

Question? Do the stations actually burn anymore, or do we just get them 'after' the fire is put out? or, was I just too late (yes 1 full day)...

I just wanted to experience it because I was out of the bubble during the first wave of attacks.

Yes I checked galnet. Yesterday was the news article that the stations were attacked. Hence my confusion when I got there and everything was fine.

So do I need to get there right as soon as the galnet news is released, or do I find out sooner through some other means. Also, I thought there was a filter in the galmap that showed stations under attack?

Which stations? As far as I'm aware, there have been two burning each week for the last few weeks, while the others are under repair. Haven't checked this week, though. You can see which ones to visit from the galaxy map.

I went here according to galnet yesterday:

25 JAN 3304

Two further starports have fallen prey to Thargoid attack: Kipling Orbital in the Pleiades Sector KC-V C2-11 and Malthus Terminal in the Pleiades Sector HR-W D1-41.

Both of these are under repair.

Huh, I assumed they;'d be on fire for a week...

I wonder if the double Powerplay tick this week screwed that up too? It may be that the second tick changed the stations into repair?

It might be worth raising a ticket about this.

This week's burning stations are supposed to be Kamov Survey in HIP 17892 and Borrego's Vision in Pleiades Sector IH-V c2-7. I haven't visited either station myself yet, but I checked the galaxy map yesterday and they have the markers.

Lol I raised a ticket too

Directly with support? I did check for another bug raised, and didn't see one, so thought I'd add it. :) Hopefully someone will let us know what happened.

Not according to the Galnet article. Where did you find that information?

Like I said, they're marked on the galaxy map. Red icons for newly damaged stations, yellow icons for stations under repair. If you don't see the markers, then that means you haven't turned them on yet.

Also, if you go into GalNet in the game, one of the two "Starport Status" articles lists the stations that are currently damaged, along with all of the repairing stations and what supplies those need.

Just activate the markers for them on your galaxy map.

^ This. By default the markers are disabled.

Kamov Survey in HIP 17892 and Borrego's Vision in Pleiades Sector IH-V c2-7 are the burners this week. Galnet in-game has the correct info. Galnet website is being screwy.

I did check my galnet in game - the one at the stations. All I saw was same article on the Web. I will double check
