Whiterose Jan 5, 2015 #2 by the colours of the system, which you can switch on and off in the galaxy map. Blue federation, orange alliance, and red for the empire. Green are indies.

Whiterose Jan 5, 2015 #4 um, they have. Each system has its colour, but the witchspace in between doesnt have any allegiance, hence it is only a small bubble.

LeetNoob Jan 5, 2015 #5 Also, there are a lot of enclaves an no neat clear borders, so bubbles wouldn't really work.
