Where are the "Famine" states ?

Looking for DWE and Distribution centres .
For the life of me I cannot find a single Famine state system. Is this a known item/bug/"removed from game" ?
(sorry if it has been posted before)
ty :)

BGS states had a reset with the 3.3 update to allow the implementation of the new mechanics. It'll take some time until we influence the galaxy enough to get the majority of factions into the various states.

At the moment it seems extremely difficult to damage a faction's economic standing - while very easy to improve it.

Famine is the most negative economic state, so just doesn't happen. Even Bust - the less negative economic state - hasn't shown up yet.

Wake Exceptions can show up in Encoded Emissions signal sources, or if you habitually scan whatever's there every time you leave a station they'll stack up well enough. If you need them in a hurry, then Jaques Station in Colonia has a lot of tourist traffic from the 3 beacons nearby, so you can pick up a lot that way - there may be similar alternatives in the bubble as well.

Or ... there's always the DWE for DWE option - go along to the Distant Worlds Expedition departure events this weekend, and scan all the wakes there.

Oh, man... Last night I looked at my Kraits and realized I hadn't finished the upgrade to the FSDs. So, sitting in a random station, I applied the necessary DWE to finish the upgrade and then decided to fly over to Felicity and grab the mass manager special... Only to find out it was a legacy mod. Just imagine how "happy" I was to have to remove those hard to find DWEs and throw them away just so I could get the mass manager special.

What an absolute waste of time. Thanks for trolling me FDEV... Couldn't put a warning on that could you? I hate wake scanning, one of the worst engineer things I have to do and I never use a wake scanner on any ship but to look for those elusive DWEs...

On a good note, famine appears to be cured in 3304...[rolleyes]

edit - Sorry, thought you where looking for outbreak. Only a few outbreak systems in the bubble, no famine. As Ian mentioned, it will take a while for the BGS to settle down

You shouldn't have been able to use the remote workshop on a legacy mod in the first place (for the same reason you have to convert them to do anything at the engineer base).

Sounds like a bug somewhere if you can now do that...

about the "outbreak" and "famine" systems:

the issue is probably due to only the ruling faction of a system is considered for the "status" of a system,
and that the same faction can have different statuses across multiple systems.

i find it very unlikely to have a ruling faction going into outbreak within the bubble...

True, and I think it needs to be addressed. Maybe it would be enough to have a check box in the galaxy map filter 'include non controlling factions'?

The entire bubble is in a Famine state - well, it is if you're looking for HGEs other than Core Dynamics Composites or Imperial Shielding.
