Where are the major player hubs?

Hey there! New player!

I was wondering where a lot of people can generally be found? I am off about 150ly away from Aphra and since I started the game I have only seen exactly 1 person. I noticed because the icon on my radar was hollow.

So where are people? I would really like to know.

You mean the in-game news network that I see at every station? I thought those things posted in that was for fluff. You mean if there are any big events caused by players it is posted in there?

I don't really know how to "check popular trade routes". I know how to view them and buy data for a system....but I don't know what you mean other than that.

The systems around Lave are positively crawling with players. I rarely go anywhere without running into 4+, and I've seen as many as 8 in the same instance at one point (granted, it was a station, so nothing too exciting happened. But they were there!).

Hey mate, welcome aboard. There are currently no static player hubs. They may form some day, but the game just launched. Currently most people are migratory, but there are both frontier driven and player driven faction changes occurring.

I'll see if I can find some of the forum links to get you started. Might want to upgrade your ship a bit first though, you might run into trouble if you join a conflict zone ;)

for something a bit more remote theres a group of us trying to assist the dukes of mikunn ( mikunn solar system) in taking over nearby systems. theres everything u need as far as refuel repair and refit.

LHS 3447 is a starting area and has MANY players there and surrounding systems. I've moved on from there, but a very busy area.

Yes, me too. I started to feel the need for a little space. 30ly years away now and having a blast. The story seems to be writing itself. Taking the risks with missions along with trading for the extra dosh is paying off handsomely and leading to some nail biting events. As long as my luck holds.

But back to topic, at LHS 3447 I once counted 8 other PCs. And not one responded to a friendly hail :(
