When I go mining I like to go to a planetary ring because there are plenty of rocks there.
On the PlayStation version planetary rings were always very visible when you were approaching a planet, and it was very easy to approach and see where you are in relation to the ring. I just switched to the PC version, and suddenly planetary rings don't render, when approaching a planet. The exact same planets that I used to mine on the PlayStation are missing the rings on the PC. Well, they aren't literally missing; they are still there, they just aren't rendered.
When you get close enough, they start appearing... in a somewhat glitchy manner. It's actually hard to approach the rings and drop out of supercruise because they are rendered so badly.
As a cosmetic negative, it also makes the planets look worse. On the PlayStation ringed planets always looked absolutely gorgeous. Now the rings are (visually) gone.
What's happening? Why isn't the game rendering the rings properly? Is there some way to fix this (what could quite well be classified as a) visual glitch?
