I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I go to the megaships indicated and of course no flipping heat-sink launchers are there. No tech broker, nothing in the store. Just a news item blasted out and nothing actually available. I guess this is a news item for a lost CG or something. Maybe early release for something that has not happened yet? Anyone actually get them?

Done. No chance that gets upvoted in less than a week though.

They were advertised that they will be found on some megaships like 2-3 weeks ago, but FDev reverted the decision to make them available citing that is too soon after the CG.
Presumably they will be made available in a near future tho
This solution is even worse than allowing people to buy ships with real money.
Since money can be earned and buy a ship.
And now some people and new players are limited in the elements affecting the balance.

can be unlocked at human Techbrokers
You probably already know but when searching on INARA you want the SIRIUS tech brokers only.
Then you go to the Tech Broker via Contacts and trade the required materials for one - you can’t just unlock and then buy as many as you want.

Modified heatsinks not available
Galnet mentions that the modified heatsinks are available at five Sirius Corp megaships, but no tech broker is available. I've only been to one but chatted to another Cmdr who told me that they're not available at any of them. Has anybody found them, and if so, what are the unlock costs?

I picked 4 up the other day...at 1st I went to mega ships and human tech brokers and scratched my head, until I realised it had to be a tech broker in a Sirius owned system. I went to one right next to Sirius, can't remember which one now.

That's the one, mega ship is called spirit of leapus I think. Popped there last night to buy the pre engineered class 5 fsd.
Worth noting that there seems to be a bug where by when you scroll down to find the heat sink the window stops scrolling, you need to let go of scroll down key and press it again for the heatsink to display. Doh!

Yeah, i get the same menue bug sometimes in Search& Rescue and Mission cargo screen, where i have to completley leave the menue and re-enter to reactivate buttons.
