Where are Vanguard and Acropolis?

...Or you could do the in-game method and not use the forums and visit every star in the bubble until you find it, as you know, there is NO IN-GAME REFERENCE! :D

Once again, AEGIS Monkeys have proven their intellect when it comes to producing their products. "You know what'd be a real neat idea? we will make ships that offer Source and return missions with the occasional 1/1,000,000 anti-xeno missions, scatter them across populated space and then not tell anyone where they are, that'll get people to use them!" :D

Only have to search 400 billion systems. You can reduce that search by just looking around the bubble since they, so far, have hung around there.
Bring fruit, tea, clothes. No need for guns.

Basic medicines are a good trade item to take to them (over 4K profit per t). :)

I did search in game, then Google, all with little other info except that they exist. And yes, even the content that DOES exist is well hidden...

Just thought I'd check (bored awaiting a delivery again) in case there was actually an issue ...

... so: google of the phrase elite dangerous vanguard produced "About 2,370,000 results" -

Top result was the wiki entry (which has the complete fight history including its current location).

... followed by EDDB etc.

I think you might need to stop routing your google searches via China. ;)

(Obviously after 2 pages the results deteriorate but 2 pages of actual links seems OK to me.)

Ok. What the hell... Basically, the two are AX megaships, RIGHT? Yet not only do they not hold Guardian SLF variant, not even inherently their - AX - SLFs!

Oh man.

EDIT: Oh crap, I get blind from time to time. There is an AX variant. But I'll be moaning about Guardian ones some more, trust me! ;)

Yep. I keep two hangars. One with guardian ships in it, one with two imperial rogues. Problem is, I won't be able to tell which has which if I have them both stored at the same time.

so 10 months later after 3.3 update. Where are they now?

They're both in 'gorn'

Well it seems the Acropolis and the Vanguard have disappeared.

I was docked on the Acropolis (in Ndandjimo) before the update, and went to bed. When I woke up, I found myself on Garnier Station in the Byeru Base system. Flew back to Ndandjimo, but the Acropolis was gone. Went to the last reported position of the Vanguard (Yukou), but no sight of that ship either.

Gorn is actually one of the best VR Games...but I take it you meant another Gorn… :D

You would of hoped that in 3.3's glory they would of added the ability to search for Mega-ships, especially ones as in integral as the Gnosis, AX mega-ships and such...…

My bet too is that these mega ships still offer 1 in a trillion actual AX missions and the rest trade missions. and also likely STILL don't supply AX weapons...

Speaking of aliens though, Factabulous congratulations on being the first to scan a Berserker! I saw it just the other day :D :D

FWIW, I keep track of both AEGIS megaships (and the Gnosis) by having placed an item I never use in their module storage. Works like a makeshift GPS and I can easily look it up ingame.

Now: both items are suddenly docked. The ECM seems to be located at Byeru Beese, Garnier station. The Manifest scanner now is in Atroco, Lasswitz port. Seems both ships have finally followed #bazmeson, then.

O7,
