Where are you right now?

Was travelling all across the galaxy, cant even remember the names of the stars i called "home" for a while, before i moved on. and now i am looking for a new homebase but i dont want to fly with ai pilots only.

i know there are some hotspots for players, so tell me where i should go next?

Hanging around in Empire space. Jotunheim is kind of like home for now, beacuase I just like "Big Harry's Monkey Hangout" for its name.

Haven't played for a week. My strategy is to play a little when there is new content, then pause. I imagine this game won't blossom for a couple of months. For now, it's "ok" from time to time. Not drawing me in really... Give it some time.

But I do keep an eye in the forums.

Just left the Crab Nebula/Pulsar. Skirting edge of the Galaxy looking out into the Abyss. Maybe I'll go the Heart and Soul Nebulae (5000Ly) or the other way to the Monkey Head (6000Ly). Undecided...

I'm hanging out at Sol at the moment. Soon I'll be on the road all the way to Empire controlled space.

I've got a nice little selection of systems all within one jump of the system i call home...towards the edges of colonized space.

2 hi techs, 2 agricultures, and a half dozen refinery / extraction worlds, all with easy stations nice & close to the main stars. plenty of good little routes and enough going on to keep me happy (civil wars & economic booms, extraction sites in anarchy systems). I'm mainly doing missions now and am allied with most local factions - which helps with the big paycheck missions (sell us 5 palladium for 120k, ship 12 gold for us for 150k...)

mainly independents, one fed and one empire amongst them.

I crossed over coloized space to Pand (right on the opposite side) and did a little bit for the "Friends of Pand" group - they're trying to get expansion in a frontier system with about 8 terraforming candidates...but no-one seems to really be organising that effort much just now, so i went exploring for a bit but that whole area was fairly duff so headed back here.

I am currently in the Pueloe VQ-Y B42-18 system, on my way to Sgr A*.

It's a long trip, but the crew of the Deep Space Exploration Vehicle HMS Porcelain Throne are in good spirits.

I seem to be at Bloch station, Ethgreze system. Boring my brains out grinding isk... I mean credits... for a couple of more fancy high-tech gadgets before I'm going to take my sparklin' new Cobra out somewhere distant. Pilgrimage to the center of galaxy is high on priority list, but I may yet change my mind about that.

My ship the 'Stranger here Myself' and I are a few jumps from HIP 66220, and eager to scan down my second ever neutron star, further on the way down to the Coalsack from 57 Hydrae, which was a nice little system full of stars.
