Where can I buy a type 6??

Ive gone over 300 LY and like a bazillion systems and i cannot find a type 6 anywhere? has it been removed from the game? What is the secret to finding out where this is sold? Im tired of wasting days on end looking for this. The thread that shows where to buy ships is way out of date and completely wrong, been to every single system it lists and no type 6 anywhere.

They really need to improve on being able to search the map for ships and where they are sold, unless I have my galaxy map configured wrong the system sreen tells me nothing and the galactic screen also tells me nothing in this regard.

Thank you, ill check there if aulin doesnt have 1. I went to that page, tells me nothing about where to find it. I get thi sis a sandbox game, and I dont necessarily want everything handed to me on a silver platter, but some way to identify where a ship is sold (such as a way of seeing if a station is owned by Lakon. i currently dont see that as an option on the galaxy map or system map)

Type 6's are quite common... I'm surprised you're having problems finding one. General rule of thumb for ships is High Tech stations or Industrial.

As said high tech or industrial station in high population system usually have good selection of ships. If you have elite status or you are founder go to Jameson memorial station in Shinrarta Dezhra system. Jameson memorial has all ships and modules and 10% discount.

I bought mine in Njikan a couple weeks ago. Can't imagine they're not available.

Thank you all. Found one in Altair. Now its time to work on getting some credits. Gonna do some rare trading, then maybe take my cobra out and start doing combat missions. Eventually I might join the powerplay stuff, but really looking forward to Horizans. I dont know what the overall plan is but so much that can be done with this game! quite excited to see what they will come up with.
