Newcomer / Intro Where can I buy a Vulture from?

Sort of new to the game- but now I've got enough to buy a Vulture.

Is there some way of finding out where they are in stock (or where is most likely to have one)? Flying around and docking at random stations to check stock seems very immersion breaking.... in a time when we have mastered the stars and refuelling from the sun, we can't have a stock check system?

I have tried High tech systems, but these don't seem to be working :(

Thanks in advance

can advise loads of places for you to buy a Vulture, but i have no idea where you are in space, so go here:

http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Vulture
In the 'Purchase Locations' click expand and see from the extensive, but not exhaustive list of places near you. Check on this site: (http://www.miggy.org/games/elite-dangerous/routes/) for routes and distances from you to purchase location and find one that is nearest to you.

Word of warning, the Vulture is Nice VERY NICE, but the standard Vulture is quite poor, so have some dosh to put in some good A rated equipments, and second word of warning is perhaps most important with a Vulture....."Watch your Power draw" and know how to prioritise Modules!!

Good luck! IMHO, the vulture is the BEST fighter i have been in to date! ( I still do my Pew pew in the vulture)

How much do you actually have? You probably want to have for some initial upgrades. Also, if you find one in a system belonging to Li Yong Rui, you can get it at a 15% discount, freeing up more cash for upgrades and re-buy.

Thanks all for your replies- so basically there is no guarantees- eg. you can buy them in any High Tech system?

I am fine with prioritising modules, as I need to do that on my Viper, which has 2 class 2 beams, and 2 gimballed MC- when I deploy, I have de-prioritised cargo, life support and FSD so they turn off in order I can run everything I have. Works quite nicely, although the 25min life support limits my 'being out' time.

EDIT- I am in the Munshin area at the moment (Empire space)

I have about 8.5m, so 4.5m for the ship and that leaves me outfitting money. Thanks for the tip on Li Yong Rui, I'll take advantage of that

I am in the Mushune area at the moment (not sure if spelt correctly, Empire space though)

I bought my Anaconda in a Li Yong Rui system but it is important to go to a Li Yong Rui high tech system if you want the best chance of buying the ship and find the components for it.

Fair point, finding the right components is probably harder than finding the actual ship!

Just for completeness, found one in CD-72 190, Phillips Terminal. Had 12 ships there, including both Diamondbacks, Imperial Clipper, Anaconda and Python.
