Newcomer / Intro where can I find a guide to the icons used in EDD?

In particular I am looking for what the icons mean that appear in the system display. There is a tiny volcano which I assume means geological features? and there is what looks to me like a tiny sine wave...indicating a type of scan done on that body?

Everything you need is in the Wiki:

Description of the scan panel (inc icons):

e.g:

Body Status Icons are:

  • If a planet is Terraformable : A picture of the planet earth.
  • If a planet has Volcanism : A volcano erupting
  • If a planet has an estimated value (configurable via the $ button) : A $ (your in the money!)
  • If a planet has signals : A ~ symbol
  • If the planet has been mapped by you : An outline globe icon in green
  • [11.10+] If the planet has been mapped by others : An outline globe icon in red with a person inside it
  • [11.10+] If the planet has been discovered by others : An outline circle in red with a D inside it

The blue line around the planet or moon indicates its land-able.

Multiple rings are shown by a gap in the ring.

Barycentres are marked by barycentre outlines.

Hovering over a item shows you a text description of it. Clicking on a planet pops up a note with the same data.

Thank you very much. I had been to the GitHub site but had difficulty drilling down, in particular because I didn't know it was the "scan" panel that I was searching for.

BTW - just to be clear - EDD is at 11.9.3.0 release so those two entries (icon descriptions) for 11.10+ release is just advance info, not showing at the moment.
