Short question:
Where can I find a page which describes the network settings required for manual setup?
If I get connected to the server after several tries, does that mean I have a proper connection or could it be a kind of incomplete connection?

Long story:
I'm always having difficulties connecting to the server most of the times (4 out of 5 tries) sometimes I make a training mission and when i get back out i get connected. I have a Technicolour TG582N router connected to ADSL then a LAN cable to a TP-Link WR941ND with DDWRT firmware set as DHCP forwarder and WAN disabled because I only need it as a WiFi extender and a LAN switch. My PC is then connected via LAN to this TP-Link router.
While I have the server unconnected I still can contact the server for groups. - so is it connected or not.
SO I decided to set the settings manually.
When I search for network settings I'm always getting this page (https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=11361) which points to the new comer forum, instead of another page!
On the new comer forum I can't find a thread on Network settings.
When I search I get a ton of unrelated threads.
I search online also nothing plain and simple if I find it's for a specific condition.
I'm seeing a lot of things that don't corroborate with other people experiences for one my installation is not in Progam Files (x86) why?! it is here:
C:\Users\Oliver\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments
and here:
C:\Users\Oliver\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments
when in Win 8 I search for a file it never find them! Win 7 was much better.
So I found AppConfig.xml in C:\Users\Oliver\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1003
But i still cannot find _NetworkLog.txt or _NetworkLog.log
now also the launcher gave errors and updated with an error on screen.
Today is one of those days...
